J.D. Salinger

A new Salinger novel would drive the literary world mad. Enthusiasts would literally be beating down the door of Salinger's house to find other books that have been locked away supposedly. All the conspirators that said there were more books would be jumping around yelling, "I told you so!" All in all it would be a major event in American literature. As for making a movie about Catcher and the Rye, I don't think Salinger's family will allow there to be a movie made until the whole family tree dies off and there is nobody to sue the movie creators.
